What you are buying, and what it is not

One purchase covers one estate: the interview you complete, the report generated from it, the PDF you download, and the shareable link to it. Delivery is immediate and digital — the report appears on screen as soon as it is generated, normally within a minute of payment, and the PDF downloads from that page. There is nothing to post and nothing to wait for.

The price is RM40 per estate, charged once. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. You may share the report with every heir, an ustaz, or a lawyer at no extra cost — it is priced per estate, not per reader.

It is not a fatwa, not legal advice, and not a substitute for the Mahkamah Syariah, a syarie lawyer, Amanah Raya, the Pejabat Pusaka Kecil, or your state religious authority. Only the Mahkamah Syariah issues a Sijil Faraid, which is the binding determination of shares. It is educational reference material derived from published books, prepared to help you understand a case and arrive better prepared at whichever of those doors you need to knock on.

We do not hold, manage, transfer, distribute or advise on anyone’s money or property. We never ask for bank details, and we take no part in the actual administration of an estate.

Where the books disagree, or where a case turns on a juristic question that is genuinely disputed — al-Radd, Muqasamah, an heir whose sex or survival is uncertain — the report sets out the competing positions with their sources rather than choosing one for you. That is by design, and it is not a defect in the report.

The arithmetic is computed deterministically and every share is verified to sum to the sah masalah before it is shown. The written explanation is generated from excerpts of the cited books, and each rule names the book, the author and the printed page it came from, so you can check it against the book itself rather than take our word.

A report is only ever as correct as the facts you enter. Which heirs survive, whether siblings are seibu sebapa or sebapa, whether a child predeceased, the value of each property, what is owed — all of it comes from you, and none of it can be verified by us. An heir left out or miscategorised changes the answer completely.

Buy a report for your own family’s estate, or for one you are helping to settle, and share it freely with the people it concerns. What is not permitted is reselling reports, or running this service as the engine behind a paid service of your own, without a separate written agreement.

The service is provided as it stands, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Book coverage, calculation features and this site all change as work continues; a report reflects the references and method in place on the day it was generated, and the date is printed on it.

Keep your own copy of the PDF. Report links are stored so you can return to them, but a link is not a permanent archive and should not be your only copy.

Decisions about a real estate — what to distribute, when, and to whom — are yours, and should be confirmed with a qualified person before you act. To the extent the law allows, Faraidh’s liability for any claim arising from a report is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your rights under Malaysian consumer law.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own checkout page and are never seen by, or stored on, Faraidh’s systems. Charges appear on your statement as FARAIDH. Refunds are returned to the card used for the original payment.
